EDRP Certification

Certification Overview

The EDRP Certification is designed for professionals responsible for business continuity, disaster recovery, IT risk, and system availability.

A cyberattack, equipment failure, natural disaster, or human error can interrupt business operations without warning. Organizations therefore need people who know how to restore systems, recover data, and keep essential services running.

EDRP stands for EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional. The program teaches candidates how to plan, develop, implement, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

The current EDRPv3 curriculum focuses on disaster recovery within IT environments. It combines business continuity and disaster recovery into one practical approach.

NYTCC’s EDRP Online Training helps you understand the course topics and prepare for the certification exam through live instruction, revision, and practice.

Why Choose EDRP Certification Training?

Having a recovery plan is not enough. The plan must identify critical systems, define responsibilities, set recovery priorities, and work during a real disruption.

EDRP Certification Training teaches you how to approach these responsibilities in a structured way.

The training helps you learn how to:

  • Identify threats and business risks
  • Conduct a business impact analysis
  • Prioritize critical systems and services
  • Select suitable backup methods
  • Plan data and system recovery
  • Develop continuity policies and procedures
  • Test and maintain recovery plans

Among available disaster recovery certifications, EDRP is focused on both business continuity and the technical recovery of IT systems.

It is suitable for professionals who want practical recovery knowledge as well as preparation for the EC-Council examination.
